Accessories — ACBuy Spreadsheet Guide
Bags, belts, wallets, jewelry, and small goods. Each sub-type has unique QC priorities from stitching to hardware.
Accessories cover the widest range of items on the spreadsheet. A belt and a backpack have almost nothing in common when it comes to QC. This guide splits the category into logical groups and tells you what to look for in each.
Risk Note
Hardware tarnishing and zipper failure are common on budget accessories. Check metal type if listed.
Trending Directions in Accessories
Bags / Backpacks
Check stitch density, zipper quality, and interior lining. Shape retention matters for structured bags.
Wallets / Card Holders
Card slot stitching and edge paint quality are the first things to fail.
Belts / Small Leather
Buckle weight and leather edge finish. Budget belts often use hollow buckles.
Jewelry / Watches
Material allergy risk for unknown alloys. Stainless steel is the safest default.
Fit & Material Notes
Sizing
Bag dimensions are often listed in cm but can be misleading due to shape. Ask for a reference object in QC.
Materials
Genuine leather reps use corrected-grain or split leather; full-grain is extremely rare at rep prices.
QC Checklist
Buy Before You Buy
Ask for hardware close-ups
Logo engraving depth and edge sharpness are easy to check and hard to fake cheaply.
Request a reference object in bag QC
A shoebox or water bottle next to the bag gives you scale. Dimensions alone can mislead.
Check edge paint on leather goods
Clean, even edge paint with no bubbles indicates better overall finishing.
Accessories FAQ
Do rep bags use real leather?
Most use PU or corrected-grain leather. Full-grain is rare. Check the listing description or ask the seller directly.
Is rep jewelry safe to wear?
Most rep jewelry uses stainless steel or alloy. If you have metal allergies, avoid unknown alloys and stick to known stainless grades.
Do wallets hold up over time?
Card slot stitching is the weak point. Check bartack density at stress points in your QC photos.
